On this walking tour, take a deep dive into that of food-centric Turin's neighborhood eateries. Turin has long been associated with magic and the occult. Hear all about it, and learn about the city’s black and white magic ‘souls’. Start with the seventeenth century Piazza San Carlo (Carlo Felice) with it is famous rearing horse with the Savoy Duke Filiberto in the saddle. Two gorgeous sixteenth century churches, the so-called "Twin Churches", look out on the piazza.  One is the masculine San Carlo and the other the feminine Santa Cristina.
Continue your visit reaching the terrific Piazza Carignano and admire some of the most beautiful historical buildings, declared UNESCO World heritage since 1997. Stop here for some delicious food tasting. Carry on walking along the left side of Via Roma to Piazza Castello before returning back to Piazza San Carlo up the other side of the road – just so you don’t miss any of the expensive shops.
At the end of the gallery where it opens onto Piazza Castello you will find another one of Turin’s legendary cafés the wonderful Turin liberty style, taste food here and continue your tour learning about the Savoy royalty who once inhabited the Royal palace. Taste the delicious Bicerin, a drink made of coffee, chocolate and cream, served since 1763 in a small glass, called “Bicerin” in Piedmont dialect.
