After your brief train journey from Bologna or Modena, we will meet in Parma and head towards a dairy producer to see live the different production phases of Parmigiano Reggiano and enjoy a little tasting of two different agings at the end, accompanied with some local wine. Afterwards, we will go towards the hills and visit a prosciuttificio to learn about the production and characteristics of the Prosciutto di Parma. The rooftops are not wheelchair accessible - if your tour includes them you may have to ascend using the stairs and will always have to come down the stairs.

Please note that although this tour does have priority entrance, some queueing may be necessary due to intensified security procedures.

In the event of heavy rain or snow, the terrace levels may be closed to the public. In that event we'll hope for clearing weather but cannot offer refunds if the tour doesn't include the terrace level.The staircase is narrow and of smooth marble, so you are advised to wear comfortable, rubber-soled shoes, and to wear a hat to protect yourself from the sun. Please note that there are no toilet facilities or bars, so you are advised to bring water! In case the Cathedral will be close for private events or celebrations you will visit the rooftops and the museum.

Stroll the streets and hit the water for a full day on and around Lake Como, one of the most beautiful lakes in Italy. Lake Como  Tremezzo Bellagio Villa Carlotta. Boarding a boat and exploring the coast from a different point of view. Cruise up toward the spot where the lake's three branches intersect and disembark to visit the town of Tremezzo. Nearby, you'll be amazed by Villa Carlotta and its spectacular lakefront gardens. After free time for lunch, jump on board the ferry to Bellagio a stunning town known for its breathtaking position as the Y- intersection of the lake, and the latter known for its hilltop castle.
