Meet your private guide in Milan and begin your day with a comfortable private transfer to Milan Station. From there, board the train to Como and enjoy a scenic journey toward the shores of Lake Como.
Upon arrival, begin your private cultural and gastronomic experience in the historic heart of Como. Start the morning in true Italian style with a freshly prepared espresso or cappuccino accompanied by a traditional Italian pastry. Then continue with a guided exploration of Como’s historic center, discovering some of its most important monuments, including the magnificent Duomo, the medieval Broletto – the historic Town Hall, and the charming Church of San Fedele. As you explore the atmospheric streets and historic neighborhoods, your guide will introduce you to the local culinary traditions and the flavors of Lombardy. Continue your gastronomic journey with a selection of authentic Italian specialties. Taste freshly prepared focaccia, followed by a selection of local cheeses, prosciutto, and Italian salami, accompanied by a glass of Italian wine in a traditional local venue. The experience continues with a delicious pasta tasting and other specialties. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing one-hour public boat cruise on Lake Como with your guide. Admire the spectacular scenery of the lake, elegant villas, colorful lakeside houses, and beautifully landscaped gardens as you travel along the shore. Depending on the public boat schedule, the cruise may include a stop in one of the charming lakeside villages such as Torno, Moltrasio, or Cernobbio. Return to Como and enjoy some free time to explore, shop, or simply soak up the elegant atmosphere of the lake. Before leaving, indulge in another Italian classic: a traditional artisan gelato. Finally, return to Como railway station and board the train back to Milan.
