DAY 1: Welcome to Milan

Arrive in Milan and transfer to your hotel in the city center.

DAY 2: Milan’s Main Attractions

After breakfast, set off on a half-day city tour of Milan. See the city’s main sights, such as the Vittorio Emanuele Galleria, the Sforzesco Castle (exterior), and the impressive white Cathedral with all of its spires. Snap some pictures in Piazza del Duomo, then head over to the world famous La Scala opera house.

DAY 3: All Around Turin

Depart for Turin after breakfast, arriving in time for a half-day walking tour. The fourth largest Italian city, it played a major role in the 17th Century Italian unification movement. Turin is famous for the Shroud of Turin, housed in the Renaissance-style Duomo, and for its Baroque architecture. Take in the sights of Palazzo Reale and Palazzo Carignano, then finish up the tour with a chocolate tasting at Café Guido Gobino.

DAY 4: Free Time in Torino

Spend the day at your leisure, exploring Turin however you see fit. The city is home to one of the best collections of Egyptian culture in the world at the Egyptian Museum, which is well worth a visit, as is the National Museum of Cinema, located in the soaring Mole Antonelliana tower, which defines the city’s skyline.

DAY 5: Asti, Pollenzo, and Piedmont Wines

After breakfast, head intothe heart of Piedmont, first stopping in Asti, the region's main wine-producing center. Tour this tranquil city, known for its Medieval towers and elegant churches, including the church of San Secondo and the 14th Century Duomo. Next, it’s off to Castello Grinzane Cavour, one of the most important and oldest castles in the region. Enjoy a wine tasting at Enoteca Regionale Piemontese Cavour and then stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Finish up the day in Pollenzo, an ancient Roman city, to visit the old Palace of the Dukes of Savoy, which now houses the Wine Bank. Finally, we’ll proceed to Langhe to check in to your new hotel.

DAY 6: A Day of Barolo

Tour southern Piedmont, including the picturesque city of Barolo. Visit the wine museum at the 10thCentury Falletti di Barolo castle, once the residence of the French Marquise Juliette Colbert, who created Barolo wine. Enjoy a thrilling wine tasting at the Marchesi di Barolo canteens followed by lunch. After, visit the Barolo Enoteca Regional, which features a wide range of the best Barolos in the region.

DAY 7: The History of Winemaking in Serralunga d'Alba

Start your day with breakfast at your hotel and then depart for Serralunga d'Alba. Visit the impressive Fontanafredda, a winery that covers over 100 hectares of mountainous land and is part of the history of Italy's most noble winemaking. To this day, the company preserves the traces of its noble past, which dates back to the year 1878. Enjoy lunch before continuing to your hotel in Milan.
