Following the old Naviglio Pavese, the historical water-way from Milano to Pavia, the “Certosa”, with its gothic-renaissance style, introduces Pavia, laying on the riverside of Ticino with its beautiful bridge, the most important city in this area; the land around Pavia, dominated by the Po and Ticino rivers, is characterized by beautiful hills and generous plain that give fine food and wines, especially in its southern part, the so called Oltrepò. Meet your guide and your driver in Milan, from where you will reach Pavia. After an immersion in the medieval times, in Pavia and at the Certosa, you will experience the flavors of the hills, with a traditional lunch in an old fashioned farmhouse; after lunch the trip will continue to Oltrepò, famous for its wines. A wonderful route on vineyards with breathtaking view on wonderful landscapes. You will stop to a winery for a wine tasting.
