DAY 1: WELCOME TO ROME!
Meet our driver at the Rome airport for a private transfer to your hotel.
DAY 2: A MORNING AT THE VATICAN
After breakfast, we will pick you up for a tour of the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Enjoy an afternoon strolling through the city center. Dinner suggestions will be provided.
DAY 3: AN AFTERNOON IN ANCIENT ROME
Enjoy the morning at your own pace. Optional tours will be available, including a walking tour of Rome’s piazzas. In the early afternoon, we will pick you up for a tour of Ancient Rome, including the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.
DAY 4: A LEISURELY DAY IN ROME
There is plenty more of the Eternal City to explore, but you could also opt for a cooking class, a tour of Tivoli and its spectacular Villas, or wine tasting in Castelli Romani. Or you can just spend the day exploring the diverse neighborhoods of the Italian capital. The choice is yours!
DAY 5: HISTORIC POMPEII
All aboard for your business-class Frecciarossa train journey to Naples. Immediately set off to Pompeii for a private tour of the well-preserved Roman town destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. That evening, you will check in to your new hotels in the amazing jewel of a town Sorrento, the beginning of the Amalfi Coast area.
DAY 6: THE PANORAMIC AMALFI COAST
Get ready to have your breath taken away! Our driver will pick you up for a journey along the famous Amalfi Coast, stopping in Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. Spend the day exploring the most beautiful stretch of coast on the Mediterranean Sea.
DAY 7: SORRENTO AT YOUR PACE
Picturesque Sorrento awaits you. Spend the day at your leisure, souvenir shopping and sampling of the region’s famous limoncello liqueur. If you’d like to explore more of the Sorrentine Peninsula, we can arrange a cooking class or a winery excursion..
DAY 8: GLAMOUR IN CAPRI
Just off the coast of Sorrento, you’ll find the famous island of Capri. Walk in the Piazzetta, visit quaint shops, traverse the island’s winding roads, tour Villa San Michele (entrance to be paid locally), and, weather permitting, explore the Blue Grotto. Return to Sorrento for the evening.
DAY 9: CIAO AMALFI COAST!
After breakfast, our driver will transfer you to the airport or train station in Naples.
